Worthy

In 2025, Plan International and Paramount, in partnership with Nickelodeon, launched a global campaign featuring beloved explorer Dora. This inspiring public service announcement reminds us that every girl is worthy of an education. It celebrates strength, dignity and the right to learn.

Together we launched The Dora Fund, an initiative that invests in grassroots and youth-led organizations advancing girls’ education. By providing direct grants and resources, the fund helps community leaders address barriers to learning and unlock opportunities for girls worldwide.Ā

Since 2024, we have engaged more than 5,600 participants across 18 communities in six countries around the world.

A backpack might seem simple. But it can be the thing that keeps her in school and on the path to something powerful. In partnership with Paramount, we delivered more than 2,500 backpacks in nine countries.

Just $25 helps provide backpacks filled with school supplies — helping girls show up prepared and proud. You can join the effort by donating a backpack today.
